Sara Little has ached to become an established artist almost as long as she has dreamed of moving to America. But being born of a single mother in London’s working class, she could only dream.

On the night of an important dinner party, handsome gallery director Christopher Lake rescues her from the clutches of an amorous drunk and ushers her away from her life of servitude.
