High on a Mountain, by Tommie Lyn
High On a Mountain, by Tommie Lyn, has been an incredible read. The characters, the conflict, and the setting draw you in with a strong and steady grip and don’t allow your attention to wander. You empathize, even with the villain, and find yourself rooting for these characters as if they were your true friends.
Edgy action/adventure romantic fiction is what I would call this. A fantastic balance of chick lit and male bravado mixed together with a wonderful blend of description and action. HoaM is a smooth read that keeps you turning the pages. Definitely a must read, especially if you enjoy those stories reminiscent of Rob Roy or Braveheart.
I am a writer. I adore the spinning of the unwritten tale – that lesson waiting to be divulged to others. Each day a new story beckons. One last happy ending. My characters have a life outside of my own, and I always learn from their destiny.
