Resurrected Honor

Resurrected Honor (RH)

RH is the fantasy saga I have been working on since 1998 when I began the story as an RPG storyline for a small game company: Heavy Metal Productions. We went our separate ways 3 years later, but I had fallen in love with the characters and the story in RH, a spin-off from another fantasy I had been outlining years before.

RH follows Jarvais Innis Clemoun, a black-sheep of House Clemoun.

He escapes the island nation of Igla at the age of 16 to make a name for himself in the wild blue yonder, casting off the name of Clemoun and all the responsibility that name held. Becoming a mercenary and pirate, Innis allowed pride and arrogance to lead him wherever they way. Four years later he came face-to-face with his mortality at the hands of a warlord.

Innis loses the battle. Yet in that defeat he is forced with the choice of continuing in the path of rage and murder, or resurrecting the honor that had once been a welcome part of his life’s outlook as a child and young man.

Eleven years pass and he returns to Igla a different man in name, appearance, and demeanor. Upon his return he finds that his father has abused the citizens to accumulate more power, though for what reason he can’t figure. As Jarvais is drawn deeper into the intrigue surrounding his House’s role, he finds that he holds the power to begin a change.

The two other Houses of Igla, Laicton and Trisbin, join forces under Jarvais’ leadership and stand against the tyranny of the Clemoun House. Clemoun rebels, declaring war on the Sanctur – the island’s Holy Order – and all that oppose Lawgiver Clemoun. It is up to Trisbin, Laicton, and Jarvais to not only stand, but protect the people that have nowhere else to turn.

People flee their lands by score and venture not only to the Sanctur, but also into the Ruin Forest that surrounds the Sanctur….

Welcome!

Home to the writing of Nona King. I venture into all manner of fiction, so long as the characters' tale is told to its fullest.
Feel free to browse the Bookshelf, view my Book Trailers, read reviews and post some of your own, and comment as the spirit leads.

All are welcome.
