Today is my fortieth birthday.
Today is also my second day driving back from North Dakota where the hubs and I are finalizing the purchase of our home. At the moment I am quite precariously balanced between feeling overwhelmed by all that needs to be down to facilitate this next step in our lives… and the awe of this huge blessing. God has done wonders in His nurturing of our lives and widening the scope of our effect. It is my hope that we have done at least a fraction of the same for those in our sphere of friends and family.
I hope you can excuse my short post today. I have 300 miles to cover to day and covered more than 500 yesterday.

Nona, sometimes short is best. You’ve said everything you need to here – God has nurtured you and your husband as He’s grown your ministry field, and you’re thanking Him for that. What else needs to be stated? Great post.
Happy birthday! May the Lord bless and keep you safe as you continue the journey He’s mapped out for you.
Nona, no need to apologize – i am thrilled for the new adventure. I noticed a few tag words you used in your post: Hope, Faith, God’s wonders, blessing. I have discovered that God gives us a vision, through hope we begin to visualize it, and faith brings it to pass. The circle of God’s blessing . . .Amazing is His love for us. Praying traveling mercies and much peace and happiness in your new home. Keep those seeds of God alive.
Worry Not, Nona. You’re forgiven. Just keep the pedal to the metal and your eyes on the road. When you have time you’ll have to tell how liked No Dak. Peace and Blessings
Happy Big Four-O! And the Lord’s safety during your move. May He grant you traveling mercies along the way.

I pray that you and your family have safety on your travels and blessings on this next phase of your life!
And happy birthday
Happy Birthday! May our Lord give you grace and joy as you follow His will.
You’re excused! Having moved about 30 times in my life (over half of those since my marriage) I get it.
The cool thing is seeing God’s hand of care (ie: nurture) in each and every move. Be blessed and have fun!
Happy Birthday Nona – and prayers for safe travel.
short post excused bless you, in it you acknowledge that God has done wonders in His nurturing of your lives. He will make your path straight. Proverbs 3:5-7
Biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig hug
It *is* exciting to pack up and move across the country… or 1/2 way across. Enjoy your adventure!
Happy Birthday Nona, hope you made it home safely
Thanks everyone!
I made it home earlier than I expected. Now I’m trying to plot the best strategy for packing. Luckily my mom is still here, so she will help me get started. Packing supplies are ordered and should start trickling in tomorrow.
I’m excited and humbled that such a great responsibility is placed upon my shoulders.
Hope to make everyone proud!
Happy birthday, Nona! Glad to hear you found a home!
I like the short post. Sometimes less is more. Have a great move.
I know that sometimes I get into the lengthy posts.
Sorry about that.
Seems like a case of (new) life begins at 40 !
Wishing you joy and peace in your new home!
Happy Birthday. I hope it is memorable and the beginning of a whole new adventure for you.
Wow! I’m surprised you were able to get a post up at all! Hope things are beginning to fall into place. You have new nurturing to do now. Blessings to you!
May God bless (and nurture) you in your new home, Nona. You can fill us in on the goodies later.
